From Your Role Brief to Your Team

01

Describe the Assignment

GroupBWT, your IT staff augmentation company, starts with the assignment behind the vacancy. Describe the work, your preferred start date, and the hours the specialist must share with your team; we use those details to decide which experience to seek.

02

Review the Candidates

GroupBWT presents screened profiles explaining how each candidate’s relevant technical experience fits your assignment. Choose the people you want to speak with and use the interview to discuss what they would do and the skills they would need.

03

Interview the Specialist

You interview selected candidates about the engineering assignment they would take on in your existing environment. After you choose a specialist, we confirm the placement and identify what must be ready before they can start work on that assignment with your team.

04

Connect the Specialist

GroupBWT delivers IT staff augmentation services nearshore by helping engineers join your daily channels and repositories. Onboarding introduces them to your own tools and current workflow, including the shared hours when they can work with colleagues on the assignment you have agreed.

How We Check a Candidate for Your Role

We discuss delivered work, set a practical engineering task, and assess the candidate’s explanations to colleagues.

01/05

Experience in Your Stack

At GroupBWT, a candidate's account of delivered work needs to explain what they contributed and how they dealt with problems in an environment like yours. The data engineer's discussion focuses on systems they have run on your platform. For an AI role, we ask about shipped systems, integration work, and evaluation of the result. A certificate tells us about platform knowledge. We ask how the candidate used that platform knowledge and which responsibilities they held in the work.

Build the Pipeline and Recover a Failed Load

We review the pipeline the candidate built. Next comes a failed load: we ask the candidate to recover it and explain their work.

Ask How Their Design Handles Changed Requirements

We ask about design compromises in relation to the workload. We change the requirements to ask which design decisions the engineer would revisit. In a data-role interview, that can mean comparing scheduled processing with real-time needs and explaining the effect on running costs and when colleagues receive usable data. Before accepting a placement, discuss the choices with the candidate against your own assignment.

Explanations Your Colleagues Can Use

The candidate receives an unclear business request and explains to us how their proposed data model answers it. Could colleagues understand the answer and trade-offs without interpreting the engineering detail? That is what we assess.

Fit With Your Role and Working Hours

Does their seniority suit the role? Have they held the responsibilities it involves and worked in relevant environments? We check those points and working-hour overlap alongside technical skills. We check the candidate's explanations with business colleagues in mind, as well as their discussions of implementation alongside engineers.

You Lead the Work, or We Manage the Build

GroupBWT offers individual placements alongside coordinated teams and managed projects. Each arrangement defines who directs delivery, not just how many people are involved.

  • Staff Augmentation
  • Dedicated Development Team
  • Project-Based Development
01

Keep Your Managers in Charge

Who directs the specialist? Your manager does, keeping backlog ownership, setting priorities, and assigning daily tasks.

We match the person and provide staffing and administrative support within your existing processes.

This model fits a missing skill, an overloaded team, or an initiative your managers can direct.

02

Coordinate several roles around a continuing workstream

Does the roadmap need different skills? Complementary roles may suit continuing work better than another person in the same position.

Architecture, engineering, testing, and delivery coordination can sit within one team we bring together for you.

Your sponsor and our team define who manages delivery; operating the platform remains a separate scope decision.

03

Delegate the build against agreed deliverables

Agree the scope, milestones, and completion point with us. We manage the build against those terms.

What stays with your team? Providing requirements, reviewing progress, and accepting the resulting deliverables.

Is the price fixed? Not automatically with project-based delivery. We agree the commercial arrangement separately.

Experts to Complete Your Delivery Cycle

Your team may need one skill for technical decisions and others for engineering work and product design. Tell GroupBWT which work needs support from your IT staff augmentation services provider so we can match the specialist.

01/06

IT Consulting

Your requirements and architecture choices are work for a consultant we can match before the engineering build. They turn the chosen architecture direction into work your engineers can plan.
Connecting sources and processing their data for your warehouse or application is work our data engineers can take on. It can also include checks for failed loads and recovery paths for rerunning them. Those checks help your team investigate an incomplete delivery. Where inputs need repair, the engineer we match can bring experience in coordinating dependent jobs and checking incoming data against business rules, within the agreed assignment.
An analytics specialist we match can bring different systems' inputs into executive reports and business intelligence dashboards. The figures use definitions suited to the decisions those reports support. Colleagues can then compare figures on the same basis and distinguish ones with different meanings. Before matching skills, we establish whether the role mainly needs to bring inputs together or make changes in the figures visible, including where those changes occurred.
Manual record transfers can be a bot-building assignment for a specialist we match when predefined rules govern the repeated work. We scope the assignment by separating predefined transfer rules from exceptions that need human judgment. Workflow checks and exception handling govern the bots' routine transfers. Cases needing judgment go to the responsible people.
Your codebase may need a new application, integrated systems, or changes to existing software. We can match developers for those assignments, working within your review process. We define whether the role also includes testing and deployment.
Screens prepared by the designer let your product and engineering colleagues review a complex workflow together before the build. Your product assignment tells us which interface design, user journeys, and interactive prototype skills to match. An existing product may need a confusing user flow mapped first; the designer can then prototype changes for colleagues to review before development.
01/06

We Support Specialists After They Join Your Team

We provide staffing support beyond placement, from progress reviews to changes in the team and documented handovers.

01/04

Agree How to Review Progress

We recommend naming the accepted result, its reviewer, and review frequency. Progress discussions can then refer to specific work in your workflow. A pipeline review might check that expected data arrived and the receiving team can use it. An application-change review might check the agreed behavior. We recommend measuring AI delivery against a business metric defined beforehand. Each assignment needs checks that fit its result; different kinds of work need not share a measure.

Keep Working Knowledge Available

For a global cosmetics manufacturer, GroupBWT grew an embedded pilot into a standing data-engineering team working in the client's repositories, deployment flow, and review process. Our engineers reviewed documentation before it entered the knowledge base, keeping working context available as the team expanded.

Match Capacity to Growing Scope

New responsibilities and skills in the expanded assignment are what we check before placing another specialist. The expanded work may call for complementary skills in a squad if more hours from the original specialist are insufficient. The shift from maintaining reporting jobs to preparing model-development data changes the tasks and dependencies. That discussion helps us identify with you whether the changed work needs another role or more hours.

Support Engineers Through Team Changes

Our engineers can seek help with technical problems in the assignment and with joining your team's processes. The replacement needs a record to consult during handover, so we help document the departing specialist's working knowledge. We recommend recording unfinished work, decisions already made, and checks needed to continue. Reviewing it with the incoming engineer gives your colleagues a handover that does not depend on the departing person's memory.
01/04

Let’s Scope the Role Behind Your Quote

Role, specialist allocation, and responsibilities determine the hourly or monthly quote from GroupBWT for affordable IT staff augmentation services. A job title does not describe the full assignment.

01/03

Work the Specialist Will Own

Which platform will they work on? Which integrations and decisions belong in the role? Tell us what it covers. That is the assignment we use to define a candidate profile and compare candidates. The data-engineering experience we seek may differ between real-time work and reporting jobs. Source count and incoming-data condition affect the work too. We establish whether you need new jobs built, unreliable inputs corrected, or an existing system maintained. Our time estimate follows that task definition.

Time and Roles You Need

Full-time or part-time allocation and expected duration form the basis of our time quote. One full-time developer may not cover every discipline in the assignment. We discuss those disciplines before proposing the staffing mix. A focused feature can need a different role mix from data preparation, model work, and application integration. The tasks covered by each role determine its quoted allocation; not every role needs the same time.

Engineering, Support and Charges in Your Quote

We distinguish the engineering assignment from any post-launch support and show additional charges in the quote. Coordinating a build involves delivery responsibilities that a specialist placement does not automatically transfer to us. We scope management separately.

Agree Staffing Terms Before Work Starts

Check Charges and Each Side's Responsibilities

What are the administration charges? Who handles employment, tax, equipment, and access? We record each side’s responsibilities in the contract; jurisdiction determines the legal obligations. Need to change allocation or replace someone? The contract sets the provisions for those changes, along with notice and exit. Check those terms for the changes you can make; flexibility depends on the agreement.

Assess the Specialist in Your Workflow

An evaluation period, where included in the agreement, lets your managers judge fit from work done in your own processes. That review gives you evidence of fit from the actual assignment when deciding whether to commit for longer.

Agree Confidentiality and Code Ownership

GroupBWT provides the agreed confidentiality and intellectual property (IP) terms in writing for your legal team’s review. Who owns the work? What use is permitted, and which jurisdiction do the terms name? Your legal team checks those points. We write those agreed confidentiality requirements into a nondisclosure agreement. Code ownership needs separate written terms.

Limit Access to the Role

We follow your security controls and restrict the specialist to access approved for the role. Access waits for your security team’s review of the evidence and controls against applicable certification or compliance requirements. A staffing agreement is not evidence of compliance on its own; your team needs supporting evidence for the review.

FAQ

Who sets the daily tasks?

Your manager does. The person we place works on your backlog while your team remains responsible for project execution. If you choose a dedicated-team or project model, we define our delivery responsibilities separately.

What if the specialist does not fit the role?

Our replacement search follows a discussion with you of the assignment and an updated candidate profile. Documented working context supports the handover, while the contract sets replacement timing and notice. Placement deadlines vary between arrangements.

Will specialists work in our private repositories?

Yes, with your security team’s approval of access. Our specialists enter through your virtual private network (VPN) or single sign-on (SSO), using approved access. They can commit directly in your private GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket repositories. Your security protocols and compliance guidelines still apply.

Do engineers join our standups?

Your daily Slack or Teams standups include our engineers during the working hours the teams share. We use the communication needs you describe for matching; your interview is where you discuss that fit with the candidate.

What does nearshore overlap change?

Shared hours let your colleagues discuss blockers with our nearshore specialists. Both teams’ locations and working schedules determine useful overlap, rather than geography alone. Shared working hours do not guarantee response times.

Can our policy restrict AI tools?

Yes. Your policy determines whether engineers may generate or test code with GitHub Copilot and Cursor. Before engineers use the tool, your team checks its setup and data handling for code privacy.

Must we bring in a full team?

No. We can match an individual dedicated specialist, with time allocation and duration agreed for the role in your initiative. The staffing terms above explain the contractual provisions for ending the arrangement.
